So I think I might start playing more shows solo again. I like playing. I forgot how good it feels to say all this personal shit on stage and not get judged on a personal level. Just an artistic one. And that’s just personal taste.

Stupid Fucks

Soooo….what the FUCK is with the people on this planet? If you commit molestation or statutory rape of a child, is it okay, as long as you’re michael jackson or roman polanski? Is it because they have contributed “greatly” to the artistic community and that the general population has sympathy for the hard lives they’ve endured, or is it because they are super fucking rich and famous?

Many people in this world along with myself have contributed to the artistic community and have experienced hard lives. Does this mean that I have the right to do horrible things to innocent people and be exonerated, mourned or sympathized with by all these stupid sick zombie fucks? What about criminals who aren’t artistic, rich, famous or anything else that would deem them “special” by today’s societal standard? Should they be put to death by lethal injection while other, more “important”, sex offenders and murderer’s exist in our world free of reprimand for their heinous and immoral acts?

This world I live in, and the people who live amongst me, continue to disappoint me. It’s sad what hypocrisy can do to change a man’s view of humanity.

God, sometimes I wish I had a podium and a video camera with a live internet feed. Either that or extreme ignorance.

I guess I’ll have to settle for writing songs and posting rants on a blog that maybe gets like 5 hits per day.

Album

I have decided to make a double album.

This will be the first album Hungry Lake releases and the first full length I will have ever completed.

I don’t know much about it right now. I have a bunch of songs and a lot more parts to songs.

I have grown tired of all that encompasses music and musicianship at this point in my life.

There are things that this album must accomplish for me to accept things in this world.

I want to make a record with friends. Not just musicians but friends. If these friends happen to be in other bands then that is just fine and wonderful but I don’t want this project to become some “fill in the bullshit blank” sessions in some pretentious cabin in the woods with Johnny “Indie Famous” Johnston and Suzie “I’m a totally righteous feminist but I do shitty drugs and date other rockstars” Smith and we totally got high and changed the world of music.

I will never be famous (it’s rare for fat people, didn’t you know?) or have some large underground following(surprisingly even more rare) so I want to create this project just so it exists and see what happens. I hope people like what I do, don’t get me wrong, but only because it means that more people in this world will have something to relate to, not aspire to or be envious of.

The album will be called “The Right To Bear Arms” and it will come out sometime in late 2010 or sometime in 2011.
